[00:13:38] This is pretty good and then I go back and play the original Castlevania or even like bloodlines and it's like do this is fucking tough The original way especially it's um

[00:13:49] Bloodlines is insane. I think that's like next to super Castlevania for I think that's probably my favorite one next to Like I think the top ones for me are for sure like I do love Symphony at Symphony of the night

[00:14:03] But I think like super Castlevania for is my favorite and then it's probably Rondo of blood and then it's Probably the Sega one bloodlines and then Symphony of the night Like I do like the Metroidvania stuff but not nearly as much as just like

Yeah, there is something about the the classic Castlevania style because when they got to the Metroidvania as it felt they were trying too hard to Constrain themselves within like the castle and they wouldn't let themselves expand a huge amount where it's what makes

[00:14:38] Say the original Castlevania cool is that you have all those different Levels and kind of like the build up to the castle and also particularly three as well like you get all those real cool Like classic universal or kind of spooky scenery. You know

[00:14:51] Like graveyard's the fucking the villages on fire and chill like that the unordered caves. Yeah, it was Awesome and look I might get shot per samus like I know Symphony of the night has like a fucking bitch in soundtrack

[00:15:07] But man Rondo of blood. No, you're not getting shot in my room. Yeah, you're not gonna get shot for that Yeah, I think that's like It's arguably like not incorrect Yeah I feel like with Rondo those part the first time they were like dude we could do

[00:15:30] CD quality or CD quality audio for this bitch because I know that was the first Castlevania on its CD wasn't it yeah The piece of the trouble graphics Symphony and night count like I think four years later. I think yeah, that's what that that said though

[00:15:49] The super Castlevania for soundtrack is also insane and like the best part of the thing I've said it I've said it before that Like sometimes the super Nintendo had like insanely good audio for what it was and

[00:16:06] Sometimes it was damn near like it sounded almost like CD quality Yeah, um Dracula X Oh yeah, that's fuck that sounds like that's almost CD quality

[00:16:17] Well I think I might be wrong about this but I think Dracula X has it's one of the few games that has like Its own like chip on it like I know the magma at X games had that and it was something to do with like it

[00:16:30] Allowed it to have I don't know more processing power it had something like yeah Cause I remember about the way back that chip No, no, no, that was for like the 3D shit for like starfoss

[00:16:41] But I know you're talking about I don't know any of this ship. Yeah, like make them and it just had it So tsunami so they probably had to own custom sound shipped that they made yeah But yeah Dracula X

[00:16:54] That's a question what if a game is that fucking soundtrack is fucking soundtrack's best part of that game too But we should go back to we should go back to the original castlevania because it's it still holds up

[00:17:06] It's still like a it is a fantastic game and it did lay the groundwork for a lot of like action 2D platformers to come Because like Mega Man was still a year away at that point

[00:17:17] I mean you had Metroid at the same year, but it was you know a different thing You know these two these two series seem to be interlocked with each other. How do I don't I don't know what happened

[00:17:28] But Castlevania was had a much different trajectory at the time and and yeah, the game holds up a lot better I think then some people would realize like yeah, it's an old fast game of 1986, but it's still it's still controls really well

[00:17:40] And it's still super fun to play It looks great too do the graphics so fucking cool. Yeah, and Paul the blue and orange Constant like yes is is just great and and although I could be weird

[00:17:53] But I've always thought the weird wonky controlling Castlevania was the point like only being able to whip forward the weird jump trajectories all that kind of shit Like that's kind of what makes Castlevania Castlevania you know what I mean It can definitely

[00:18:10] Dunn specifically it was designed specifically to be To work that way kind of like kind of like how the Dark Souls games are controlled in a very specific way for the combat

[00:18:20] It's kind of the same thing. I think with yeah, yeah because I because I wouldn't say Castlevania is like a horror series It's like horror adjacent and

[00:18:29] But usually what makes horror games like what helps with them is is the control like restricting the player in certain things that they could do Like that's what's say it makes the original as an evil work so well as those weird fucking tank controls

[00:18:41] Yeah Castlevania is something similar to that where you're not always in complete control of the character But you have just enough to get out of weird situations when you need to and you learn how to use all the sub weapons

[00:18:55] You know like like when you get the knife you're like fuck man Fucking acts the arcing action amazing wait hang on what's all of our favorite sub weapons the fucking the potion Just the whole water yeah

[01:40:42] But yeah, I remember liking it and at the time people seem to enjoy it for what it was. There's been a lot of Dante's in Furno with how like, I mean, I around the same time, didn't he?

[01:40:54] Yeah, Dante's Furno was a couple, I think it was a year earlier. A little bit earlier. That game's awesome. So there's like that wave of like, you know, dark ciders and shit like that. Yeah, I played that. Dark ciders. Dark ciders is fucking too.

[01:41:07] I have all of them. I just need to play them. They're good. Then came like the 3DS fucking like in between meters. Me or shit? Yeah, I mean, it's like, it's like a half Metroidvania. I don't know, it's it's weird.

[01:41:21] Kind of I played a little bit of it. It tries to, I think it's a continuation of wars of the shadow. Yeah, yeah, it's a original trilogy. Yeah, and I feel like it's probably similar. It's pretty good. It's not bad.

[01:41:33] It feels like it's how you guys said order of a crazy tries to kind of mix the tradition, oh, with the Metroidvania. It feels like this is trying to do a little bit of that as well. But focusing more on the linear stuff.

[01:41:44] I didn't play a huge amount of it. But there's an HD version of this that's on all the consoles if you want to play that. Yeah, I was he that shit. I'm selling steam. I just never buy it.

[01:41:53] I actually bought it the other day because it was like three bucks. So it's like fuck it. Why not? I don't know if I joined this team. Yeah, but people like mirror of fate for what it is. It was, uh, was it? Lores has had it.

[01:42:02] Lores is shadow two is the one people do not like. It was it was cool how you start as Dracula though. Yeah, I installed it recently and played it. It's fucking weird. It is really fucking weird dude. Dracula versus Satan. That sounds awesome.

[01:42:17] Yeah, there hasn't been a new castlevania game in 10 years. Oh, that's disgusting. Though there are there are rumors that canami is well, the big. The big rumor was in 21 that canami was going to revive Metal Gear Castlevania.

[01:42:33] And if you think about it, they've done two or the three. We have a Metal Gear game coming. It's just a remake of Snake Eater. I think there's, yeah, there's the waters with remakes. There's scared to do something. Well, with silent. We'll take the best ones.

[01:42:48] Well, with silent hill, the remaking too, but they're doing like silent hill F and, you know, some other random shit. Yeah, that's true. It's terrible fucking TV show thing. Yeah. Oh, boy. That was a real bad.

[01:43:02] But many people suspect it was written by AI because that's a good sense. So they might be doing some of Castlevania, but, you know, but they're never going to get the golemon. I'm never going to get golemon. No. There's a, at least there's an enemy in series.

[01:43:18] Yeah, yeah, the enemy is fantastic. The enemy is crazy. And that's the thing. The enemy revived interest in it. You think canami would have been like we have to capitalize on this. Money, money, money, money, money, money, money. And they fucking legit.

[01:43:30] Yeah, they made a picture in the machine. Yeah. Yeah. I just picture them in like meetings with like corporate and, you know, like people that actually care about the franchise are like, okay. So there's a lot of interest with the anime. So we should make and they're like,

[01:43:47] Pachinko and they're like, no, no, no, no, no. Okay, anime. And then we make of the D and they're like, video, Pachinko. Support the port some of them, but we already did more of them. Okay. I guess. Okay. Ports of Pachinko. If they made like a Pachinko.

[01:44:08] If they actually made like a virtual Pachinko machine, I've cast a Vainian put it on like all the platforms. I'd fucking play that kind of amazing actually. I played. I played the fucking. It's crazy. Look, I'm a sucker man. I go to a casino if I'm like,
